BMW 6 Series Convertible was launched already on the market, after being showed in January at the Auto Show in Detroit.
The car is available for ordering in two engine versions: 640i and 650i.
The new model comes with some technological news for the premium convertible segment, including two, next generation, turbo engines TwinPower, 8-speed automatic gearbox standard available on both versions, Integral Active Steering or flat screen display technology inside.
The car is manufactured in Dingolfing, Germany, same location with the BMW 5 Series and BMW 7 Series, using the innovative technology product planning, and effective solutions that reduce energy consumption.
The BMW 6 Series Convertible cars are passing the value of four-seater convertibles with a modern interpretation, while retaining the classic design traits as defined by the BMW 501, 502 or 503 – the elongated hood inspiring more power and elegance, the passenger space pushed more to the rear, increased wheelbase for more stability on the road; at the same time offering all the elements for a luxurious and comfortable travel, specific to a Grand Tourer, but, at the same time, the German mark and outstanding sportsmanship.
