An English designer changed the case of Steve Jobs’ iPad. Now it’s made of gold, dozens of diamonds and pieces of T-Rex bones.
For people with money that don’t want to be trivial, Stuart Hughes, an English designer, has created the world’s most expensive iPad. The Apple gadget has undergone serious changes to reach a value of over $8 million.
How was such value reached? iPad 2 Gold History Edition is adorned with over 50 extremely rare gems. The colors and materials chosen for original housing have been replaced completely, the back is made of 2 kg of 24 karat gold and the Start button is decorated with diamonds. For the Apple logo, 24 diamonds were used.
For so much gold and diamonds, Stuart thought to add some stone, but not any type of minerals. The front of the tablet is constructed from one of the oldest rocks found in the world, Ammolite, which was discovered in Canada and is about 75 million years old.
For uniqueness, the English designer built in a piece of T-Rex bone, about 65 million years old. Unfortunately, the operating system and technical features have remained the same as for us, the ordinary mortals.
If you want such a tablet, hurry, unfortunately there were only two pieces made.
