People who travel with the popular daily flight from London to Las Vegas will have the option to go first class starting June 1, 2011, according to the latest news from British Airways.
The UK air travel company will also increase capacity on the route by 18 percent.
The route is currently operated by a three-class Boeing 777, with 275 seats. The current aircraft will be replaced on June 1 by a four-class B-747 that has first class and a total of 337 seats.
British Airways is making the change as the route has been one of the most successful company launches in the past few years and it is one of the star routes, according to British Airways head of marketing and sales Richard Tams.
The prices from London, Heathrow, to Las Vegas start from 523 British pounds in World Traveller, 941 pounds for World Traveller Plus, 2,528 pounds in Club World. The first class flight will cost 7,108 British pounds, including fees, taxes and charges, according to British Airways’ website.
British Airways is currently adding first class options to all long-distance flights and they estimate that the process will be completed by the beginning of 2012.
