Lullaby of the “Black Swan”

Actress Natalie Portman, Oscar winner for her role in “Black Swan”, gave birth to a boy

Natalie Portman (30 years old) and her fiance, Benjamin Millepied (34 years old), became parents of a boy, informs “People” magazine.

Portman and Millepied, ballet dancer in New York City, met during filming of “Black Swan”, where the actress plays a ballerina. Millepied dealt with the movie’s choreography, and also played Portman’s scene partner. The two were married shortly afterwards, but they did not announce the wedding’s date.

The birth was not confirmed by representatives of the actress, which was not a surprise to journalists, since Natalie Portman is known as one of the most discreet presence on the Hollywood scene.

Auspicious period

2011 year is probably the best of her life, the international press notes. In February she won an Oscar for her role in “Black Swan” in the category “Best Actress” and now she gave birth to her first child. It is not known yet the baby’s name but one thing is sure: it will be not “Oscar”.

The night when Portman got the much-coveted statuette, a reporter asked her if she considered naming her child after prestigious U.S. film industry awards. “Under no circumstances I will name my baby Oscar”, replied the actress amused.

Willing to keep her personal life away from the press, Portman was very stingy with words when the media published the news of her pregnancy in late 2010.
