American singer Christina Aguilera acknowledges that she was unfaithful during the marriage with Jordan Bratman, the music producer.
In an interview with W magazine, the singer said: “At one time or another, none of us was an angel”, informs nme.com.
She also talked about their separation: “There was a time when my home life was like my own childhood. I will not raise my son in a home dominated by tension”.
“I knew there would be backlash in the press about my divorce, but I will not live my life according to what one or the another say. This is contrary to everything I sing about. I have to be myself”, said Aguilera.
Christina Aguilera has also spoken about her arrest in March, when she was caught drunk driving, saying that she doesn’t want to appear a martyr, but she was the victim of her own celebrity. According to police, the American singer will not be investigated for this incident.
2010 has been full of events for Christina Aguilera, who was separated from her husband, Jordan Bratman, in October, going public with new boyfriend, Matt Rutler, a month later. Also in November, Aguilera received a star on the boulevard celebrities in Los Angeles – the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Christina Aguilera filed for divorce in October 2010 and the divorce was completed in mid-February. Aguilera and Jordan Bratman have together a three-year-old son.
