Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, are having a baby. The American singer confirmed that she was pregnant on Tuesday, at the TV show presented by Ellen DeGeneres.
During this interview, at the launch of her new disc, entitled “Greatest Hits … So Far!!!”, Pink confirmed that awaits the birth of her first child.
Pink also said why she didn’t want to confirm earlier this pregnancy, although rumors are already circulating on the subject in the international press for several weeks.
Like many other women, including Mariah Carey – who recently announced that she is pregnant, too – Pink has confessed the host of “Ellen DeGeneres Show” that in the past she suffered a miscarriage.
“I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before”, said the singer.
Pink does not know her baby’s sex yet, but the artist’s doctor told her that it might be a girl.
“My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us will go to jail.” Pink joked, referring to the teen years, when she wasn’t in very good shape with her mother.
On her real name, Alecia Moore, Pink, 31-year-old, known to be an animal rights campaigner, has sold about 29 million copies of her four albums and was rewarded with two Grammy Awards.
Recognized for bold style she dresses and for her strong sound, Pink released his first album at age 18. Titled “Can’t Take Me Home”, it was an R&B-influenced material. The next studio album, “M!ssundaztood”, has received some more rock influences and was released in 2001 and so far is the best selling material of the American singer. The album includes songs like “Get The Party Started”, “Don’t Let Me Get Me”, “Just Like A Pill” and “Family Portrait”.
The American singer and the racing motocross athlete, Carey Hart, aged 33, were married in January 2006 and separated in February 2008 and then reunited in 2009.
