Contactally.com announces the launch of the mobile business card application, a link between the printed business card and the mobile identity.
Contactally is a free application built on top of ScanVibe 3.0 network that helps users store their online profile in a personalized mini-website format optimized for smartphones. Mobile business card users can now use QR code, Microsoft tag or NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to exchange contact information (address, phone numbers), video clips (resume, a presentation, bio, business description, etc.), web links, social media profiles (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) or other information they want to share with other people.
The QR code or MS tag associated with the mobile business card are automatically created by the application after the registration. The image files can be placed on a regular business card – users that scan them with a smartphone are redirected to a mobile profile. A short link to the mobile profile of the mobile business card holder is also automatically generated by the application.
The mobile business card application is free for individuals. Registration and login communication is encrypted.
The mobile profile could be accessed online by scanning the QR code, MS tag or the NFC tag. The mobile business card includes both personal and business profile, registered users can fill out whatever data they want to be publicly accessible on the Internet.
The mobile business card is a great way for people to promote their personal or business online profile and improve their position in the search engine results.
