Jennifer Egan Won the Fiction Pulitzer

Signed by Jennifer Egan, the novel “A Visit from the Goon Squad”, with the central theme the time passing, earned the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for fiction literature on Monday, informs Associated Press.

Jennifer Egan, 48, received favorable reviews for her unconventional novels that address the modern problem of identity crisis. Her work includes “The Invisible Circus”, “Look at Me”, and “The Keep” novels.

Earlier this year, Jennifer Egan won, for the same novel, the national award “Book Critics Circle”.

Pulitzer Prize was established by will of Joseph Pulitzer (1847-1911). Annually, 21 awards are granted, of which 14 for journalism works, and the rest for works in literature, music, poetry, drama and history.
