Actress Katie Holmes says that her husband, actor Tom Cruise, who is currently working on a musical, has an “incredible” voice.
Currently, Tom Cruise is working on the musical directed by Adam Shankman, “Rock of Ages” and Katie Holmes says that moviegoers can not wait to hear her husband’s fantastic voice, informs accesshollywood.com.
“Tom is a wonderful performer”, said Katie on Thursday, at the gala Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards held in Beverly Hills. “His voice is incredible”, she said.
Katie, aged 32, added that her talented husband suddenly began to sing around the house. “Yes, we have music in the house and it’s wonderful”, she said.
Also, Katie says that their five-year-old daughter, Suri, is a continuing inspiration. “She’s so smart and pretty, she has a big heart and she’s magical”, said Katie. “She’s smarter than me! She is beautiful and makes me happy”, she added.
Tom Cruise will play Stacee Jaxx musician in the big screen adaptation of the musical “Rock of Ages”, director Adam Shankman recently stating that the actor, famous for his scores in action movies, will impress everyone with his performance.
Cruise takes singing lessons and is studying the 80s rock to prepare for the role.
“I think we will see him as a god of rock’n’roll! I’m very excited. He is dedicated to the project. He translates into this role as I have never seen another actor to do”, said Shankman.
Tom Cruise will play several songs in the movie, including “Renegade”, by Styx, “Wanted Dead or Alive” of the Bon Jovi band, and “I Want To Know What Love Is”, by Foreigner.
