Lady GaGa, Fined in Paris for Public Nuisance

Lady Gaga was fined in Paris on Thursday for disturbing public order, accused that she has caused chaos after she emerged at the hotel window to throw rose petals to her fans.

The American singer, who is in Europe for a series of concerts to promote her latest album titled “Born This Way” was accommodated on Thursday in Paris at the Park Hyatt Hotel, according to femalefirst.co.uk.

Her presence attracted many fans who gathered outside the hotel hoping to see their favorite artist. Lady GaGa gave up to their requests and eventually emerged at the hotel room window, where she began to throw rose petals to hundreds of admirers.

Her gesture, which triggered the frenzy of fans was not liked very much by the Parisian police, who decided to amend Lady GaGa for public nuisance, according to the British tabloid The Sun.

“Hotel managers have tried to convince her to leave the window because of frenzy that came upon her admirers outside the hotel, but she has not heeded, and the police had to come on site and to fine her. I thought she was possessed… She threw hundreds of rose petals at them and shouted again: ‘I love you, my little monsters'”, a source told The Sun.

Lady GaGa is 25 years old and the winner of five Grammy awards. She is considered one of the most interesting and original artists of the new wave and enjoys a huge commercial success. Lady GaGa has become famous thanks to hits such as “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face” and delighted the audience with unusual live appearances always wearing shocking suits or setting fire to the piano that she played during the American Music Awards 2009 gala.

Recently, Lady GaGa officially became the world’s first artist whose videos have exceeded one billion views on YouTube and Billboard magazine named her “Artist of the Year” for 2010. The album “The Fame Monster” of singer Lady GaGa is the best selling album of 2010,  purchased in 5.8 million copies worldwide.
