Tia Mowry, twin sister of actress Tamera Mowry, both stars of the Emmy-winning sitcom “Sister, Sister” that ran for two seasons on ABC, and four seasons on WB channel in the period 1994-1999, gave birth Tuesday, June 28, in a hospital in Los Angeles, to a healthy boy who weighed 8 punds at birth and whose name has been not yet revealed to the press.
Tia Mowry (32 years old) married actor Cory Hardrict (31 years old) on April 20, 2008 in Santa Barbara. In January 2011 she announced that she was pregnant with the couple’s first child and confessed that the pregnancy makes her feel sexy and strong, and she does not understand the women that perceive it as a burden and are just waiting to finish it.
Tia Mowry’s pregnancy will be the subject of a reality show named “Tia & Tamera Take 2” which will premiere in August 2011 on Style Network TV channel, and the Mowry twins will be the protagonists. The new mother jokes about her sister saying that Tamera behaves with the baby as if he was her own baby “I think she secretly thinks that my son is her son, too. I mean that twins share everything, isn’t it? She kissed, caressed, and always hugged my belly”.
As per the information from the editors of E! Online, Tia Mowry plays now in the TV series “The Game” created by Mara Brock Akil, while her husband Cory Hardrict has appeared most recently in the SF action “Battle: Los Angeles”.
