In Beta version for Yahoo Messenger 11 we were provided an option that could decide not to keep a copy of conversations stored on Yahoo servers, choosing instead to keep it on local computer. Unfortunately this option has disappeared from the final version of the application, leaving us only able to completely disable the function of archiving conversations, thus preventing unpleasant situation in which authentication data theft would give the attacker full access to read our conversations.

Yahoo Messenger 11 provides a better interface, which can be customized easily by applying skins. The final version of the application also offers seven new skins plus the already existing collection, for a total of 21 selectable skins.
