Former chief of IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, accused of sexual crimes, arrived Wednesday evening at his supervised residence in New York.
Dominique Strauss Kahn came into the evening on Franklin Street, number 153, at Tribeca, a neighborhood of factories and hangars that were converted into residential buildings in the 90s.
A New York judge approved the change of residence of Dominique Strauss-Kahn to Manhattan, where he will continue his home supervision, said a judicial source.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn is, from his release from prison, on Friday, in a temporary home owned by the security company in charge of his supervision.
From his new home, the former director of the IMF will be able to go under police escort to meet with his lawyers in court, the doctor or to the synagogue.
His lawyers said Wednesday in a statement that they had no contact with the maid who alleged that their client carried out sexual offenses, nor with her family and said they were convinced that he will be “completely exonerated”.
“We continue to believe that Strauss-Kahn will be completely exonerated”, the lawyers said.
Accused of sexual assault and attempted rape against a hotel employee, Dominique Strauss-Kahn is to appear before a judge to plead guilty or innocent.
