Research: Green Coffee Protects You From Cancer

Green coffee is less heat-processed and contains polyphenols, antioxidant substances which protects the body from cancerous diseases.

The causes leading to cancer are still unknown by the medical world, but nutrition experts argue that the antioxidant food protects the body.

Studies by experts have shown that the polyphenols are substances which apparently protect the body from cancer.

Besides fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee contains polyphenols which is keeping the cancer away.

Antioxidants attacks the cancer cell

The metabolism of the body affected by cancer is anaerobic meaning is functioning without oxygen, is slower and generates acid radicals. In this context, antioxidants reduce the toxicity.

Every day, our body has to fight against free radicals, such as stress, pollution or other factors that destroy cells, and antioxidants are the natural components which help us maintaining our health and reduce what we call oxidative stress.

Green Coffee is anticancer

Studies have shown the coffee’s anticancer character. Thus, those who drink coffee are less likely predisposed to cancer due to antioxidants.

The main antioxidants in coffee are polyphenols, which are an important part of the amount of antioxidants the body needs. They are quickly absorbed by the body and protect the body against cell damage.

In addition to polyphenols, coffee fats play an important role in preventing cancer. From all coffee types, the green one is less thermally processed, has less caffeine and contains more antioxidants, better protecting the body from cancer.

It is recommended drinking 1-2 coup of green coffee a day to strengthen the organism against cancer.

A 200-milliliters cup of coffee provides about 400 milligrams of antioxidants meaning 160 milligrams of polyphenols. In addition, the green coffee can reduce the oxidative stress levels in a proportion of up to 12% -16%.

Note, however, the large quantities of caffeine because it can lead to tachycardia, increased blood pressure, higher excitability, insomnia or even heart attack.
