Colonel Muammar Gadhafi’s adopted daughter, Hana, which he said that was killed at the age of six months in U.S. attack in 1986, is alive and working as a doctor, according to documents and photographs found in the compound of the Libyan leader.
She studied medicine in Tripoli and attended four years ago the British Council English classes in the capital of Libya, which she successfully completed, reports the Daily Mail.
An observation paper from a medical center Libyan was written in Arabic and signed “Hana Muammar Gadhafi “, while a passport photo of a young woman believed to be Hana was found with other photos in which she appears next to Aisha Gadhafi, another daughter of Libyan leader.
A room in the complex likely to be occupied by Hana was filled with DVDs, CDs with the band Backstreet Boys and even cellulite treatments. On the shelves, there were medical books and pictures of a young woman about 20 years old wearing a robe.
At the beginning of the year, the German newspaper Die Welt reported that Hana is a doctor working for the Libyan Ministry of Health. The daily newspaper claimed that she is an important figure in the medical field and she used her status to block the promotion of colleagues. It also said that Hana runs several hospitals, is fluent in English and often travels to London for shopping.
Colonel Gadhafi that his claimed adoptive daughter died in the 1986 bombing, ordered by U.S. President Ronald Reagan in retaliation for the attack on a nightclub in Berlin committed by Libyan agents, that killed two American soldiers.
Earlier this month, documents found in the British district Knightsbridge showed that a dentist traveled to Libya to treat a certain “Hana Gadhafi” in 2008. The dentist refused to talk about it.
