More than a million people lost their jobs, tens of thousands of houses are seized by the banks, while small businesses struggle to survive. However, bankers continue to make profits of billions and pay themselves huge bonuses even after they were rescued with 850 billion pounds of our money”.
Another supporter, Kai Wargalla support: “It is a movement of people who protest against economic and social injustice in the UK. We want to be with the 99%, the vast majority that values people more than profit”.
In the U.S., the movement “Occupy Wall Street” is in its fourth week of existence and expanded in several cities. Also, many celebrities – the rapper Kanye West was the last one to show his support for the movement – come and support the demonstrators through their presence.
