Israel wants to bring Iran back into the stone age

Israel electromagnetic attack IranIn the event of a military campaign against Iran’s nuclear facilities, Israel could use the electromagnetic attack, a war means that would ensure its victory, but would be a disaster for the Islamic Republic, writes British weekly Sunday Times, referring to Western and Israeli intelligence sources.

In this case, strong gamma radiation, as the author writes, could cripple the electricity grid of Iran and could cause irreparable damage to vital electrical and electronic equipment. Such an attack could stop operation of transport services, banking, current drinking water supply and emergency services, bringing Iran back into the stone age.

About using electromagnetic radiation for military purposes it’s been talking for decades, according to the cited publication. Bill Gertz, an American military expert expresses, in this context, the fear of U.S. intelligence, according to which, in this case, a high-altitude nuclear explosion could be the source of radiation.

Since the 50s of last century, scientists have found that in thecase of high-altitude nuclear explosions, extremely strong electromagnetic radiation occur. Recently, experts have determined that such an attack, with the advantage of the absence of any casualties, can be caused by a high power microwave generator.

About a month ago, the idea of using radiation to cripple Iran has been expressed by the American physician and scientist Dr. Joe Tuzara. In his article, posted on the Israeli radio station “Arutz 7” site, the idea of turning Iran back into the stone age was unveiled.

A similar idea was expressed by the online publication WorldNetDaily, that Israel does not deny the possibility of a high altitude explosion of a warhead with a source of electromagnetic radiation over central regions of Iran.

Meanwhile, during the discussion with the reporter from Sunday Times, one of the founders of the missile defense system “Iron Dome”, Uzi Rubin, expressed confidence that the source will not be a nuclear warhead. “There are other ways to achieve the same outcome”, he said.
