A fire started in the Indian metropolis of Mumbai has destroyed about 2,000 homes located in poor suburbs of the city. Following the fire, 30 people suffered burns, the local media is informing.
According to journalists, the fire broke out on March 4, and 40 fire crews were involved in the fight to stop the fire from spreading.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but experts do not exclude the version that the fire may have been intentionally set. Eyewitnesses reported that before seeing a blaze of up to 13 meters high, they heard a strong explosion.
It is in these poor suburbs of Mumbai, where Azharuddin Ismail and Rubina Ali lived, the two children who played in the film directed by Danny Boyle “Slumdog Millionaire”. Later, director and film producers have given the families of two children actors houses worth £20,000.
