Cleveland Lives without Lebron James While New Orleans Suffered the First Defeat

Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 101-93 score, and came fifth victory in the NBA this season.

Daniel Gibson, who began as a reserve, was the leading scorer for the Cavs with 18 points, followed by Jamario Moon with 13. Cleveland has signed a series of four defeats at home, while Philadelphia reached the ninth defeat in the season.

Josh Smith managed to score 25 points for the Atlanta Hawks in 102-92 victory in front of the Indiana Pacers. Smith completed his night with another eight rebounds and seven blocked throws.

Mike Bibby finished with 16 points for the eighth win of the season for the Hawks. From Pacers, Danny Granger scored 22 points, but could not prevent the fifth defeat of his team.

New Orleans Hornets lost their first game of the season to the Dallas Mavericks with a score of 95-98.

The difference was made in the fourth quarter by Dallas’s trident, Jason Terry, Jason Kidd and Dirk Nowitzky, who scored 27 of the 29 points scored in the Texan team. The Mavericks have recovered a 10-point deficit and made the fourth consecutive victory.

New Orleans remains at the best home start of season in history with eight wins and one defeat, after nine rounds. The MVP was Jason Terry with 26 points, while from the Hornets, Chris Paul finished with 22.
