Liberty Ross, wife of director Rupert Sanders has filed for divorce, after the adventure that the filmmaker had last year with actress Kristen Stewart. Actress and model Liberty Ross filed documents seeking divorce from Rupert Sanders at the Los Angeles Superior Court, asking for financial support and custody of the couple’s two children – Sykla, aged seven, and Tennyson, aged five, according to TMZ.
Rupert responded to the filing, seeking joint custody of the couple’s two children. He also called for sharing the divorce costs with Liberty Ross, informs femalefirst.co.uk. Relations between the two were very tense after the adventure of the British film director with the actress Kristen Stewart, star of the franchise “Twilight,” was made public last year.
After revelations in the press about her husband’s infidelity, Liberty Ross kicked Rupert Sanders out of their house, but later they began couples therapy in an attempt to save their marriage. “It was Rupert’s suggestion to go to therapy with Liberty,” in an effort to save their marriage, said at the time, a source.
On the other hand, recently, the American press wrote that the British actor Robert Pattinson has split from Kristen Stewart, his girlfriend from both “Twilight” franchise and real-life after the adventure that she had in the summer with Rupert Sanders.
Pattinson, 26 year old, initially decided to forgive Kristen Stewart and reconcile with her after the 22-year-old actress had, last summer, an affair with Rupert Sanders, the film director of “Snow White and the Huntsman” movie in which Stewart starred. It seems that Pattinson decided in the first days of January to end his four-year relationship with Stewart, after a few difficult weeks spent together.
Robert Pattinson left last summer the Hollywood villa where he lived with Kristen Stewart after the publication of photos in the American press of intimate poses of Kristen with film director Rupert Sanders, aged 41. In July, Kristen Stewart publicly admitted that she had an affair with Rupert Sanders. Later, the actress and Rupert Sanders have issued press releases with public apologies.
A few months later, Robert Pattinson has agreed to continue his relationship with Kristen Stewart, saying he forgave his girlfriend for the “stupid mistake”. The two actors have moved back together and lived in a luxury apartment in Los Angeles.
