Justin Bieber Cleared in Attempted Cellphone Robbery Case

Justin Bieber clearedCanadian pop superstar Justin Bieber has finally been cleared on the alleged attempt to snatch a cellphone from a woman last May. This is according to the decision of Los Angeles city attorney on Monday, who rejected the case in favor of the “Boyfriend” singer. The same case was dismissed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney last week.

In a statement released by Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office spokesman Rob Wilcox, there was “a lack of evidence” against him. Apparently, witnesses told the court that the woman just made up the supposed attempted robbery by Bieber. The incident allegedly took place in a miniature golf park in San Fernando Valley. The woman claimed that she was with her 13-year old daughter that time.

Allegedly, she attempted to take a photo of the 20-year old singer. Bieber and his entourage were then playing mini-golf at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park in Los Angeles. The woman said Bieber grabbed her phone after she refused to give it to him. The singer reportedly screamed at the woman, which made her daughter cry. He returned her phone back after learning that no photos of him were taken. Police interviewed nine Castle Park employees; none of them said a physical altercation took place.

Meanwhile, the “Baby” singer is facing another case involving his former neighbor in Calabasas, California. Last January, he allegedly threw several eggs on the said residence that caused damage to properties worth $20,000. Justin Bieber is expected to be charged with vandalism regarding this egg-throwing incident. Rumors say the charge will be made later this week, but nothing is still final as of this moment. He left the neighborhood and is now selling his California mansion to Khloe Kardashian.

On the other hand, Bieber’s Miami DUI case is still pending. This is after he was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, as well as driving without a valid license. There are now reports saying that he might come up with a guilty plea to avoid the trial.
